Your privacy matters to us. Aura is built on the principle that your style data is yours. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we never will.

We do not use your personal information to serve targeted advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles on your behalf.

03 AI Scanning & Image Processing

When you scan an outfit, the image is transmitted securely to our servers for AI analysis. We process images to detect fabric type, colour palette, silhouette, and aesthetic signals.

Images submitted for scanning are processed to generate analysis results and are not used to identify individuals, shared with third-party advertisers, or stored permanently unless you explicitly save the scan to your wardrobe.

Saved scans are stored securely and associated with your account. You may delete any or all saved scans at any time from within the app.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

We retain your account information and wardrobe data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Unsaved scan images are deleted from our servers within 24 hours of processing.

We take the security of your data seriously. Aura uses industry-standard measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and access controls to protect your information.

No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at security@aura.app.

08 Children's Privacy

Aura is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

09 Third-Party Services

Aura may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services (such as affiliate link technology provided by Sovrn/VigLink). These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through Aura.

Affiliate links within the app and on this site may earn Aura a commission at no additional cost to you.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or email, and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Aura after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
